Card of thanks
Often in times of great sorrow and grief, we may forget to say a simple “thank you” to those that cared enough to lift us up. So we are writing this to thank the multitudes of family and friends that over the last few days have lent to us a sympathetic ear or an understanding shoulder.
Unfortunately there maybe a name or two that ends up lost in the fog that has surrounded our family since April 10. We want everyone to know that our gratitude is sent to those who called, brought food, donated money, sent flowers helped with arrangements and gatherings, those who held us while we cried, and those who shared a laugh or an amusing story with us.
Thank you deeply for all the cards, prayers and thoughts. We feel a special thank you is in order to Kenny Hightower, Jerry Don Childress, Leroy Willis and Brandon Stroup. You all will never truly know how honored Bobby would have been to have you play just for him.
We are sincerely grateful to the Rev. David Judd and Bro. Dennis Senter for the beautiful sentiments and lovely words of comfort spoken in care.
Please know that nothing has gone unappreciated, and we feel truly blessed to have such wonderful, loving family, friends, neighbors and members in our community. Bobby loved you all and this town. Our heart ache is long from over and Bobby will always be missed, so please keep us in your prays and thoughts. God Bless.
When you read this, I will be in the presence of God, Jesus Christ, my loved ones, and friends. - Bobby Ray Fisher Sr.
In loving celebration of Bobby Ray Fisher Sr., who was given to this world May 20, 1943, and went home April 10, 2008.
