Lady Panthers victorious in overtime

FRISCO – It may have taken an extra four minutes, but the Lady Panthers found a way to get it done Feb. 18 in a 48-45 overtime win against No. 16  Celina in the Class 3A Region II area round at Frisco Heritage High School.

Head coach Dexter Ivy said, “I thought in the first half they kind of controlled the tempo. In the second half we controlled the tempo. That was the main difference-maker in the win. We are excited to get a good win like this and move onto the next round. I’m real proud of the way the team battled.”
