Cars put their best wheels forward at the car show May 22, which celebrated Lost Highways’ fifth-anniversary while raising funds for the chamber’s scholarship fund. The Princeton Area Chamber of Commerce will supply two graduating seniors from PHS with $1,000 scholarships this year.
The car show winners were:
1950’s Original, Wynn Howard for a 1956 Chevrolet Nomad; 1950’s Modified, Donald and Vara Buchanan for a 1956 Chevrolet Convertible; 1960’s Original, Butch and Pat Arnold for a 1966 Ford Mustang; 1960’s Modified, Randy Miller for a 1966 Chevelle; 1980 and Newer Original, R. Wagnr for a 2000 Plymouth Prowler; 1980 and Newer Modified, Fred Hecker for a 1980 Chevrolet Z-28; Pre 1960 Modified Truck, Bobby Otts for a 1956 Chevrolet 3100 Truck; 1960 or Newer Original Truck, Tom Stubbs for a 1972 Chevrolet C/10 Pickup; 1960 and Newer Modified Truck, John and Jessie Thomas for a 1961 Chevy Pickup; Unrestored car, Bobby Shelton for a 1964 Chrysler 300; Unrestored Truck, Jim Copp for a 1951 Ford 100; American Motorcycle, Jason Sullivan for a 1998 Harley Soft Tail; Special Interest, Scott Randall for a 2008 Pontiac GXP Racecar; Best in Show Motorcycle, Jason Sullivan for a 1998 Harley; Best in Show Truck, Bobby Otts for a 1956 Chevrolet 3100 Truck; Best in Show Car, Donald and Vara Buchanan for a 1956 Chevrolet Convertible.
