At the start of April Gerald Brewer opened a new gift shop in town, Texas HoldEm. Brewer’s store features western, Native American, and nautical-themed gifts, as well as crosses and handmade jewelry.
“We sell a little bit of everything,” said Brewer, who will continue adding new merchandise to the store in coming months.
Already a resident of Princeton, Brewer said he felt the growing city would be a good place to set up shop, especially a western-inspired gift shop like Texas HoldEm.
Brewer said he hopes joining the chamber will help his business become more established, and draw additional customers.
People who stop by will appreciate the “unique” selection, he said.
Texas HoldEm store will be open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays. It is tucked behind Exxon at 300 West Princeton Dr.
